Al Jazeera front cover terrorist supporters

Why are Al Jazeera Jihadists Being Sanctified as Heroic Journalists

Terrorists are dressing up as journalists and being celebrated as heroes. That should terrify us. When people in the West can no longer tell the difference between a terrorist and a reporter, we are in dangerous territory. And when global media outlets themselves are the ones amplifying these terrorists as ‘truth-tellers’, the spiral we are entering threatens the very core of our society.

On 10 August 2025, Israel eliminated Hamas commander Anas Al-Sharif. According to the IDF, he was a paid terrorist operative, and the evidence presented included personnel rosters, training lists, phone directories, and salary documents. The IDF claimed Al-Sharif headed a Hamas terrorist cell involved in firing rockets at Israeli civilians. Yet Al-Sharif also wore the badge of ‘journalist’ at Al Jazeera, using his press jacket as a shield and his platform as a weapon to broadcast Hamas propaganda to the world.

After the strike, images surfaced showing Anas Al-Sharif happily socialising with Hamas leaders:

Al Jazeera terrorists

Instead of anger at this charade – the exploitation of journalism to cloak terror – we saw anger at Israel. Worse still, we saw the canonisation of men like Al-Sharif, lauded as martyrs of the press.

Of the six ‘journalists’ killed with Al-Sharif, every accessible profile (4/4) openly glorified the murder of Jews in religious terms.

This is the real issue: not who was killed, but how jihadists are being sanctified as journalists. In the same strike that targeted Al-Sharif, five other journalists were also killed. I searched for their social media profiles. What I found was not the voice of reporters, but the creed of jihadists – men who viewed the slaughter of Jews as a religious cause to glorify, not a crime to condemn.

I am about to present solid evidence that these men not only wanted to see Jews killed, but also saw the murder through religious eyes – as part of a holy war. If they were glorifying the murder of innocents using the Christian Bible as justification – no legacy media outlet in the world would describe them other than as dangerous religious fundamentalists. So why is it when a Muslim uses the Quran to justify and celebrate the death of innocent Jews, outlets such as The Guardian publish comment pieces gushing about how these jihadists are actually brave heroes?

1. Al Jazeera Terrorist Anas Al-Sharif

Anas Al-Sharif was a senior member of the Al Jazeera team in Gaza. In the image below are two posts captured from Al-Sharif’s Telegram channel. The first is a celebration of the slaughter on 7 October 2023. It was posted in mid-afternoon, by which time we had all seen the Hamas footage as they proudly livestreamed the atrocities. Al-Sharif praised the terrorists as heroes – openly referencing both the murder and the capture of hostages. He ends by praising God.

The second is a post from 27 January 2023 – shortly after a terrorist attack in Jerusalem that saw seven Israelis brutally murdered outside a synagogue. The post shows a bullet casing, with the cap shaped as the Dome of the Rock. Words from the Quran 17:5: ‘We sent against them our servants of great might and strength’ and ‘They ran over all of your land’ appear in the post. This is not just a cartoon celebrating ‘resistance’; it is jihadist propaganda, religiously justifying a brutal murder. The Quranic verse is historically used to describe God sending warriors to punish enemies and here it is applied to frame the murder of Jews as a sacred duty.

2. Al Jazeera Terrorist-Supporter Mohammed Qreiqeh

Mohammed Qreiqeh was an Al Jazeera correspondent. In the image below, we can see Mohammed Qreiqeh posted an open celebration of 7 October, describing the images of slaughter as ‘heartwarming scenes’, and referring to the terrorists of Hamas as ‘heroes’. Following the brutal terrorist attack in which seven Israelis were murdered outside a synagogue on 27 January 2023, he posted joyous messages praising the murders as good for the Palestinian people. A third example is a celebratory post from 20 June 2023 after Hamas terrorists murdered four Israelis outside a petrol station. One of the Hamas terrorists, Muhannad Shahada, is explicitly mentioned in the post and referred to as a ‘hero’.

3. Freelance Terrorist-Supporter Mohammad al-Khaldi

Mohammad al-Khaldi was one of the two non-Al Jazeera employees killed. He was listed as a freelancer. In the image below we can see four celebratory posts. Like most Palestinian jihadists online, al-Khaldi posted public glorification of the attack on 27 January 2023 – celebrating the ‘youth’ that carried it out. This was far from his only celebration over the death of Jews:

On 29 March 2022, after five Israelis were murdered in a terror attack in Bnei Brak, al-Khaldi referred to the five ‘dogs’ or ‘lepers’ who were swallowed up.

He celebrated the terror attack on 22 March 2022 during which four Israelis were stabbed to death. In his post, he referred to the ‘Lion of Be’er Sheva’. He calls it a ‘super hat-trick’ because four people were murdered.

On 7 April 2022, three Israelis were murdered in a terrorist attack in a Tel Aviv bar. In Arab culture, distributing sweets marks a celebration. Here, al-Khaldi posted that they need to be careful or ‘we’ll get diabetes’, which was a grotesque way of celebrating successive deadly terror attacks.

4. Al Jazeera Terrorist-Supporter Ibrahim Zaher

Ibrahim Zaher was an Al Jazeera cameraman. On social media Zaher is known informally as Abu Karim. On 27 January 2023 following the terrorist attack outside a Jerusalem synagogue Zaher posted a religious message in celebration. The untranslated hashtag reads ‘Jerusalem.’ The text is a direct quotation from the Quran, Surah At-Tawbah (9:14). Zaher is framing the attack as a form of divine retribution or satisfaction for Muslims. In several other posts, Zaher celebrated the Hamas rocket attacks on Israel in 2021, invoking Quranic text that explicitly refers to the Israelis as ‘devils’ being struck down by divinely guided missiles.

Four out of Four

Six people were killed in the strike near al-Shifa Hospital. I could not find a social-media footprint for Mohammed Noufal, and the Facebook account for Moamen Aliwa is set to private. Of the four accessible profiles found, all four celebrated the murder of innocent Jews in explicitly religious-jihadist terms. This pattern is consistent with earlier research showing that many self-styled ‘journalists’ in Gaza promote jihadist ideology.

Rotten from the Top

Al Jazeera terror ties are not new. The al-Dahdouh clan is Islamic Jihad royalty. The group held annual ceremonies honouring the dozens of ‘martrys’ the clan has given to the cause. Wael al-Dahdouh (who spent time in jail himself for violent activity during the intifada) – is Al Jazeera’s Gaza bureau chief. His uncles, cousins, brother, nephews, and his own son (according to the IDF) were all targeted as Islamic Jihad operatives. No small fry either – his uncle Khaled al-Dahdouh was Islamic Jihad’s top military commander when he was killed.

This is taken from a message in which Wael al-Dahdouh publicly thanked Islamic Jihad for its support, following the loss of a nephew who belonged to the terrorist group:

Al Jazeera must have been aware of the Islamic Jihad ties when they first employed him.

The Unifying Cause

What unites Al-Sharif, Qreiqeh, al-Khaldi, and Zaher is not journalism but jihad. Each glorified the killing of Jews as divine or heroic. These are not slips or lapses but a worldview in which murder is celebrated, not condemned.

The greater tragedy is that global media institutions, instead of exposing this, too often elevate it. By describing such men as ‘brave reporters’ or ‘truth-tellers,’ the media launders terrorist propaganda as journalism. And when the line between terrorist and journalist is erased, it is not only the Jews who are endangered – everyone is.

It is time to call this what it is. People who openly cite the Quran to justify the murder of Jews are not journalists. Outlets such as Al Jazeera that give cover to these jihadist propagandists should be shunned by responsible Western media. This is not journalism – it is dangerous propaganda in a press jacket. The sooner Western newsrooms stop laundering Hamas propaganda as ‘news’ – the safer we will all be.

  1. you’re doing a great job and very brave with it of exposing he pro-hamas and al jazeera lies and distortion followed avidly by the western media and regurgitated nstantly without checking as facts.
    keep up your good work

  2. Think again about who dictates world trends…

    _____

THE OCCUPATION OF THE UN AND HUMAN RIGHTS ORG. BY THE GLOBAL ISLAMIC LOBBY: THE OUC

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) presents itself as a bloc dedicated to advancing Islamic interests globally, often pushing an agenda that prioritizes the expansion of Islamic influence at the expense of Western values and principles. As the second-largest intergovernmental organization after the United Nations, the OIC holds considerable sway in shaping global policies, frequently promoting narratives that are more concerned with Islamic solidarity than with universal freedoms or democratic values.

In its efforts to assert Islamic interests, the OIC often seeks to control critical global discussions on human rights, religious freedom, and security. This influence is frequently exercised in ways that align with the interests of authoritarian, Muslim-majority regimes, while undermining the values of individual liberty and democracy that are fundamental to the West. Its intervention in areas like governance, religious freedom, and human rights often directly conflicts with the principles upheld by Western democracies, notably the protection of religious minorities and free speech.

The OIC’s reluctance to address the threat of jihadist extremism within its ranks raises serious concerns. While it positions itself as a defender of Muslim communities, it has often failed to confront or condemn the rise of violent Islamist ideologies, including jihadism. In some cases, the organization has actively obstructed efforts to tackle this global threat. Rather than pushing for meaningful action against extremist ideologies, the OIC has often chosen to advance a political and ideological agenda that prioritizes the interests of certain Muslim-majority nations over the security and values of the global community, including the West. Through its influential role, the OIC works to shape global policy in a manner that aligns with its members’ ideological goals, undermining efforts to safeguard security and the values that have long defined the Western world.

This large bloc of 57 countries wields significant power at the UN, consistently dictating agendas and using its collective influence to lobby for votes that align with its ideological and political goals. Through strategic alliances and pressure tactics, the OIC ensures that the global agenda often reflects the interests of authoritarian regimes and the expansion of Islamic influence, rather than the principles of individual liberty, democratic governance, and security that are central to Western values.

  3. *FAKESTINIANS*

Why the Term “Fakestinians” Resonates More Than Ever Since the Genocidal-Islamist October 7th Terrorist Massacre

Since the October 7th Hamas-led massacre—a genocidal, premeditated assault targeting Israeli civilians—the Palestinian narrative has been increasingly exposed as manipulative, deceptive, and rooted in distortion. The term “Fakestinians” has gained traction not as an attack on individual Arabs, but as a critique of a manufactured identity and a propaganda machine that fuels violence and global misinformation. Here’s why:

    1. Invented National Identity Rooted in Historical Revisionism

The majority of so-called “Palestinians” are descendants of relatively recent Arab immigrants who moved into the British Mandate of Palestine during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, attracted by economic opportunities under early Zionist development. The claim of indigenous status is not only historically baseless but is also weaponized politically to delegitimize the Jewish people’s well-documented, indigenous connection to the Land of Israel.

    2. Exploitation of Medical Cases for Propaganda

Images of severely ill children—often suffering from chronic or genetic conditions—are regularly circulated as if their suffering is solely due to Israeli actions. This manipulative tactic intentionally obscures the complexity of the situation, falsely presenting these children as emblematic of Gaza’s general population. It’s a cynical ploy to galvanize emotional outrage against Israel.

    3. Hospitals as Human Shields and Propaganda Hubs

Gaza’s hospitals are systematically used by Hamas not just for hiding military infrastructure—such as command centers and tunnels—but also as high-value media tools. When Israel targets legitimate military sites embedded in these hospitals, Hamas and sympathetic media outlets frame the response as an attack on civilians, deliberately ignoring the true military usage.

    4. The “Gaza Health Ministry” – A Hamas Mouthpiece

Western media often quote casualty statistics from the so-called Gaza Health Ministry without context. In reality, this “ministry” is run by Hamas, a U.S.- and EU-designated terrorist organization. Their data is neither independently verified nor credible. Inflated and fabricated figures are systematically used to portray Israel as committing “genocide,” despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

    5. Terrorists Masquerading as Journalists (“Jihournalists / Jiharnalists”)

Numerous so-called journalists operating in Gaza have been exposed as either active members of Hamas or complicit sympathizers. They not only fail to report on Hamas abuses but also serve as propaganda amplifiers, shaping narratives that favor jihadist goals under the guise of objective reporting.

    6. Hamas Sabotages Aid Efforts for Political Gain

Despite Israel and the U.S. facilitating humanitarian aid into Gaza, Hamas often intercepts, withholds, or redistributes supplies for its own fighters or to extort desperate civilians. Aid is turned into a tool of control and coercion—civilians are beaten, tortured, or even executed for accepting assistance without paying bribes to Hamas operatives.

    7. Hamas’ Goal: Sacrifice Civilians for Global Sympathy

Captured documents and public statements reveal Hamas’ strategic calculation: the more Palestinians who die, the more pressure mounts on Israel internationally. Civilian suffering is intentionally manufactured to fuel outrage and prolong the conflict—civilians are cannon fodder in their “resistance,” with death viewed not as a tragedy, but a political asset.

    8. The Expansion of the “Pallywood” Industry

The term “Pallywood” refers to staged or manipulated footage produced in the Palestinian territories to falsely depict Israeli aggression or atrocities. The sheer volume and sophistication of this content post-October 7 have reached new extremes. Entire narratives have been built on unverified videos, fake injuries, and staged scenes, all intended to portray Israel as the aggressor and whitewash Hamas crimes.

From Pallywood to Pallyweid promoting a fake genocide.

Excellent phraseplay—“From Pallywood to Pallyweid” sharpens the progression from staged propaganda to full-blown international deception.

From Pallywood to Pallyweid: The Manufacturing of a Fake Genocide

What started as Pallywood—a term describing staged or manipulated footage aimed at demonizing Israel—has now evolved into something far more dangerous and insidious: Pallyweid, the global amplification of the false claim that Israel is committing “genocide.”

This propaganda evolution didn’t happen in a vacuum. It was carefully cultivated by Hamas and its sympathizers through a multi-pronged disinformation campaign, strategically designed to:

    * Exploit human suffering (often manufactured or grossly exaggerated)
    * Spread unverifiable or outright false casualty numbers
    * Flood media channels with emotionally manipulative content
    * Mobilize global protests and academic institutions against Israel

The goal? To erode Israel’s legitimacy, obstruct its right to self-defense, and rally international pressure—not to protect Palestinians, but to protect Hamas and prolong the war.

    Let’s be clear:
    There is no genocide.
    There is no ethnic cleansing.
There is a war—a war forced on Israel by a genocidal terrorist organization that openly calls for the extermination of Jews.

The true tragedy is that much of the world media, international bodies, and even Western academics have become unwitting—or willing—participants in this grotesque deception.

Pallyweid is not just fake news.
    It’s fake genocide.
And it’s being weaponized to destroy the Middle East’s only democracy, while shielding one of the world’s most brutal terror regimes from accountability.

From Pallywood to Pallyweid: Fake Genocide Propaganda, Enabled by Terrorists and “Moderates” Alike

What began as Pallywood—staged and manipulated videos aimed at vilifying Israel—has now evolved into Pallyweid, a full-scale, global disinformation campaign that falsely brands Israel’s defensive war against terrorism as “genocide.”

But this isn’t just the work of Hamas.
It’s also actively enabled by the so-called “moderate” Palestinian Authority (PA)—a regime that talks peace to the West while promoting hate at home.

The PA: Supposed Moderates, Active Enablers

    The Palestinian Authority:

*Echoes Hamas rhetoric in Arabic, even as it plays diplomat in English.

*Spreads false casualty figures sourced from the Hamas-controlled Gaza “Health Ministry.”

*Glorifies terrorists as martyrs, rewarding them and their families through the “pay-for-slay” system.

*Accuses Israel of so-called “genocide” in international forums, giving credibility to Hamas-led blood libels.

*Suppresses dissent, jails journalists, and quashes internal criticism that might expose its complicity or corruption.

*Partners with anti-Israel NGOs and UN bodies to file fabricated war crimes charges and delegitimize Israel’s right to defend itself.

The PA isn’t a counterweight to Hamas—it’s part of the same machinery.
    They don’t oppose terrorism.
    They co-brand with it.

    Weaponizing Victimhood.

Together, Hamas and the PA have perfected the political weaponization of victimhood. By pushing a false narrative of genocide—Pallyweid—they redirect blame from their own abuse of the Palestinian people onto Israel, fueling antisemitism globally while sabotaging any hope of real peace.

This is not about defending Palestinian civilians.
It’s about shielding Palestinian leaders from accountability, even as they sacrifice their own people—literally—to serve an anti-Israel agenda.

    The Real Genocide Threat.

    Let’s be crystal clear:

    * The only actors calling for actual genocide are Hamas and its allies.

    * The only nation facing existential threats from every border is Israel.

    * The only true “moderation” the PA demonstrates is in tone, not in action.

From Pallywood to Pallyweid, from terrorists to “moderates”—the machinery of lies is fully operational. And it’s time the world stopped buying it.

Conclusion: A Manufactured Identity Weaponized Against Israel.

The Palestinian national identity, built on negation of Israel’s right to exist, relies heavily on lies, staged suffering, and martyrdom propaganda. The term “Fakestinians”, while provocative, underscores the extent to which this identity has been co-opted by jihadist leadership to further death, destruction, and delegitimization of the Jewish state. More than ever, the world must see through the smokescreen and hold accountable the real perpetrators of Gaza’s misery: Hamas, PIJ and its collaborators.

  4. Polls?

A “Genocide-Propaganda” Trap: The Question That’s Anything but Innocent.

    [Re Quinnipiac University poll Aug/2025].

When you pose such an outrageously framed question as “Do you think Israel is committing genocide?”, it not only distorts the reality on the ground but also dangerously normalizes a baseless and inflammatory accusation. Framing the question this way lends unwarranted legitimacy to a narrative that ignores the complexities of the conflict, the defensive nature of Israel’s actions, and the efforts Israel makes to minimize civilian harm despite facing relentless attacks from terrorist organizations embedded within civilian populations.

    Conclusion:
Such questions aren’t asked in good faith—they’re rhetorical weapons designed to delegitimize Israel and inflame public opinion with emotionally charged, factually empty accusations. By repeating and entertaining the language of “genocide,” critics shift the conversation away from accountability for terror groups like Hamas and instead vilify a democratic state defending its citizens. It’s crucial to call out these tactics for what they are: propaganda tools masquerading as concern, aimed not at justice, but at demonization.

We often see opinion polls shaped by leading questions — questions designed not to reveal truth, but to direct respondents toward a preordained conclusion. Consider how a question like, “Do you think Black Americans commit more crimes?” or “Do you believe America is a racist country?” can be used not to gather insight, but to provoke or reinforce certain narratives. These are the kinds of questions that produce answers some may find uncomfortable — or deliberately misleading.

But let’s also talk about who is answering. Particularly, we should consider the 18–24 age group. This demographic is highly impressionable, deeply immersed in social media echo chambers, and often lacking historical or geopolitical context. In other words: easily led.

So what would a less biased, more globally aware poll look like? How about one that asks tough, consistent questions — not just about Israel, but about atrocities committed worldwide? Ask sbout biases too. Let’s try this:

A More Balanced and Honest Poll Might Ask:

    1. Are Islamist groups committing genocide against non-Muslims in Africa?
    2. Is the Chinese government committing genocide against the Uyghurs?
    3. Is Russia committing genocide in Ukraine?
    4. Are Arab militias committing genocide in Sudan?
    5. Do you believe it’s objective for global media to focus more on Gaza than on regions with far higher civilian casualties?
    6. Has the Iranian regime openly declared intentions to annihilate Israel?
    7. Do Palestinian groups like Hamas hold genocidal intentions toward Israelis?
    8. Does the Hamas regime deliberately place civilians in harm’s way to exploit their deaths for political leverage?
    9. Is international media coverage systematically biased against Israel?
    10. Are casualty figures from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry trustworthy and independently verified?
    11. Is the accusation of “genocide” against Israel rooted in bias, misinformation, or both?
    12. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you think media images of children—caused by pre-existing medical conditions—distort public perception of the conflict?

    Conclusion:

If we’re going to ask difficult questions, let’s ask them across the board. Let’s examine global atrocities with equal scrutiny, and not selectively moralize based on prevailing ideological trends. Polls and media narratives must be held to the same standard — one rooted in consistency, facts, and genuine moral clarity.
